CDBA Ontario Chapter is a registered charity that has provided services across the province to members of the Deafblind community for 25 years. We are committed to enhancing the lives of people who are Deafblind (our consumers) through support, services, awareness, recognition and Intervenor Services. The term "Intervention" means to go between or to mediate between.   With regards to persons who are deafblind, Intervention is the process which allows an individual who is deafblind to receive information such that he or she can interact with his or her environment

This position will be a temporary contract from January 2019 to March 31, 2019.

As part of the Human Resources Department the HR Analyst will be required to conduct primary and secondary research and produce reports for the purpose of assisting CDBA Ontario with the growth and sustainability of the organizations human resources objectives. The Analyst will also be tasked with providing support to other key departments within the organization for the purposes of providing analytics, statistics or recommendations regarding data analysis.

The HR Analyst will compile Human Resources reports and data including workforce performance, attendance, recruitment, training, health and safety and training; Ensure the integrity of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by ensuring up to date and accurate data; Research human resources programs and practices to assist with the growth and sustainability of key HR objectives and provide quantitative data analysis and data visualization for use in data based decision making.

Education and Experience Required

  • Community college diploma (or equivalent) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field is required;
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in Human Resources is required
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with a strong client service orientation. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Solid time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce HMC or an equivalent HR Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of social services or non-profit sector is an asset.
